A Clearer Vision for our Environmental Future: WWF-Philippines and Owndays Partner for Cases For Change

From April to October 2019, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines partnered with Owndays for the Cases for Change campaign, which aims to show Filipinos a clearer and more beautiful vision of a sustainable future through environmental education. Owndays, an optical outfit present all over Asia and in Australia, dreams of enriching the lives of others through the gift of vision and when it comes to environmental protection and conservation, they believe that education is the best way to achieve a clearer vision. Limited edition eyeglass cases were sold across different branches all over the Philippines and 100% of the sales profit were donated to WWF-Philippines’ environmental education efforts, amounting to a total of Php 500,000.

“At Owndays, we believe that change can make the world look more beautiful and will enable Filipinos to live more harmoniously with nature. This is why we have partnered with organizations like WWF-Philippines because we know that the gift of vision should not just be taken literally; a bright vision will help steer individuals towards a better future for us and our planet,” says Yao. “We made it very simple for Filipinos to participate in the Cases for Change campaign. All they had to do was to purchase one of our specially-designed collaboration cases and 100% of sales will go to the non-profit organization of their choice.” Aside from WWF-Philippines, the Cases for Change campaign also partnered with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) for animal welfare and World Vision for child empowerment.
