Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communications Support:
    • Serve as the brand and graphics gatekeeper that provides the visual communication and media design needs of the organization. Represents the organization in meetings or events in line with visual or brand communications, and covers activities and events that will help propel the organization’s mission and vision. Visual media needs include but are not limited to the following:
      • Generic Communications Materials (infographics, newsletters, EDMs, social media images and memes, brochures, posters, videos, animations, GIFs, etc.)
      • Digital Communications Materials (e-invites, infographics, listicles, GIFs, videos, animations, photos, etc.)
      • Individual Donor Program Acquisition and Retention Materials (pitch cards, newsletters, e-cards, EDMs, giveaways, F2F booths, etc.)
      • Corporate Donor Care Materials (layout for donor reports, project brochures/progress reports, infographics, etc.)
      • Program and Project Materials (layout for program reports, case studies, branding, posters, collaterals, etc.)
      • Media Materials
      • Event Collateral Materials (posters, pull-up banners, IDs, etc.)
      • Website design and imagery (mock-ups, website elements, etc.)
      • Merchandise designs (product packaging, mock-ups, merchandise catalog, etc.)
      • Special brochures and information packets
      • Internal organization needs (formatting for certificates, trophies, awards, annual reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Managing Resources:
  1. Manages efficiently the resources of WWF. This includes ensuring resources are used in a sustainable way and identifying ways for reducing the overall consumption of finite resources.
  2. Takes responsibility in the safekeeping, archiving, and proper use of WWF global and WWF-Philippines’ visual brand, communications, and media materials.
  3. Takes responsibility in the safekeeping, proper use and upkeep of WWF equipment in the office and in the field (i.e. computers, camera, etc.)
  4. Handles cash advances and liquidates the same within required period per Project and WWF Policy.
  • Managing Information and Knowledge:
    1. Upholds the intellectual property rights of WWF across all communications and merchandising/licensing programs.
  • Others:
    1. Ensures professionalism in conducting business within and outside WWF.
    2. Participates in official activities of WWF (e.g. Quarterly Meetings, Strategic Planning) when participation is so required
    3. Supports WWF’s efforts to build its donor base in support of the institution’s sustainability.
    4. Upholds the high quality standard of WWF’s work and actively advocates the institution’s Vision, Mission and Strategies.
    5. Internalizes the values of WWF and practices the work ethics of the institution.
    6. Evaluates own knowledge, skills and competence in the light of job requirements and personal aspirations, plan your development, develop our knowledge, skills and competence in line with your plans and evaluate your learning and development.

Qualifications

  1. Preferably with 2 or more years of related experience
  2. Highly proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly for the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and InDesign.
  3. Video editing and animation skills matched with creativity and sound narrative sensibilities
