Haraya officially debuted in 2017 in a sold out concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. The choir is named after the Tagalog word haraya, meaning “imagination” or “vision” and consists of a diverse background of singers, music styles, genres and idioms. Haraya follows the Filipino choral tradition of utilizing homogenous rich warm tones in vocal production. In the past year, Haraya won the top prize as the Manchester Amateur Choral Competition 2020 and has performed in other exciting venues and events such as St. John’s Smith Square, Lansdowne Club, and Soho Square.  Their WWF #Conservatunes concert was on June 6 at 3:00 am Philippines Time / June 5 at 8:00 pm London Timee, live on Facebook. Haraya was able to help WWF Philippines provide water access to students and residents from Brgy. Boca Engano in Burias Island and Brgy. Mabini and Cabugao in Donsol.
